2.15h Place: 3th.
Like every year all the European Riders meet at the final big race at Roc d'Azur. It is always interesting to see who still has good late season shape. I was off racing for a month, but I was out on freeriding the whole time which is much for fun! Like this I am still full of energy especially in my head.
The race is one lap long of around 50km. I had no clue on what position I was riding for the whole race long, because I got stuck in a start crash. At the finish I was so surprised when I got told during a TV interview that I finished 3rd.
Not too shabby for an October race I thought. I think it is also because I like this sandy, technical course so much with all it's good smelling pine trees.
