1h35min, Second Place
A very different race in two ways. First of all it was a super fast course with almost no climbs. Second, we had to start two times! Well, this was not planned of course, but the motorbike took a wrong turn in the first lap and all of us from the front group followed him into the woods! Despite this we managed to get on the course again and kept on fighting. But after 10min. the race organisation decided to make a new start. I can tell that I have seen some pretty unhappy guys because of this new start. I took it pretty easy even this should not happen, but there is nothing you can do about it, except keeping focused on the new start again. I had no problem to get into the race again, and after a attack of me it was only T.Frischkencht and T.Kalberer left in the leading group . We worked very well together untill the last lap.
Unfortunately at my last attack I could only drop Frischi at the last hill, and Kalberer stayed on my wheel.
At the end we had a sprint for first and second... he won and it looks like I am still not the best sprinter.
