This was no funny racing! It was so rainy and cold!
I put on my race gear in the car together with Ralf Näf. We watched the rain outside for more than one hour. At least we got good chocolate bunnys from the organiser -which we started to eat-, but this also did not rise our motivation level!
5min. before the start I really had to move to the line. I felt pretty good until the wet-and coldness totally hit me. I had no feeling in my body anymore, and even had a hard time to move my shifter with my frozen fingers.
Luckly I left my thermo jacket at the speaker trailer. To skip one lap and to put on my jacket was the only way to survive the race.
Finally, I was the happiest guy after I stood under the warm shower!
